The Correspondence School - TU TOA Charitable Trust
We traveled to Palmerston North to do a wide range of hands-on demonstrations and activities, spending most of a day with Nathan Durie's pupils. Their enthusiasm is contagious and refreshing!

Clifton Terrace Model School
We worked with teacher trainee Kylie Manchester and others at the school to develop a windmill generator activity. The students constructed the windmills from kits developed by Kylie and then tested them.

Wanganui Intermediate School
We spent an entire day working with teacher Connie Zander and her pupils at Wanganui Intermediate School, balancing forks and spoons, playing with corn flour and water, generating electricity, etc. Here are two short videos with some highlights. The presenter was Victoria University student Sarah Valentine. Sarah is studying physics and preparing for a career in primary and secondary teaching.

Paraparaumu College
In a recent short visit to Paraparaumu college we showed the wire glowing under water and liquid nitrogen demonstrations to senior physics students to support the study of heat transfer. Video coming soon.

Kapiti College
We supported the study of electricity and magnetism by senior physics students at Kapiti College using interactive demonstrations related to eddy currents, including Eddy Current Drag and the Floating Magnet among others.
