Dr Angela Joe

BEd (Waikato), DipTchg, DipSLT (Massey), MA, PhD

Angela is Director of the English Language Institute and teaches on the English Proficiency and Applied Linguistics programme.  Angela Joe's main research interests are L2 vocabulary acquisition, English for Specific Purposes and Language in the Workplace.  Her PhD was on the nature of encounters with vocabulary and its contribution to long term retention.
